What one top tip would you give to a business owner embarking on a growth plan?

Create a candidate avatar not a job description! Really look at the type of person your business needs and have a clear understanding of the role you are recruiting for including department, responsibilities, who will support them, how will you onboard them, what are your expectations of the new employee, the team dynamics?

Lancashire has huge talent in the area that commutes to the cities. Having well-known brands and opportunities in the area will encourage this talent back to their roots. Business who understand that people are their best assets will have a pick of the talent and will continue to thrive.
