Employees who have had no formal financial training should attend this masterclass as it will help them to better manage operational budgets and cash flows.

Being able to manage a budget is vital to making a business a success and it helps ensure always being in control.

This half-day masterclass will introduce business people, without an accounting and finance background, to the essentials of how to manage budgets more effectively.

In this masterclass, delegates will learn the following:

  • What a budget looks like
  • Factors that influence a budget
  • How to use a budget

Delivery will be via worksheets with answers to activities and online resources. Learning will also take place via group discussion, reflection on answers and the numeric based work undertaken.

This masterclass is open to Lancashire-based SMEs in the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing sector.
