Working in partnership with Lancaster City Council on the COVID-19 Recovery & Resilience initiative, The Growing Club is providing a comprehensive programme of training and support for 12 local women, to strengthen and grow their business post-lockdown, in an initiative to support the building of strong and sustainable female-led businesses, for local economic recovery and resilience.
Bloom and Grow is a popular 12-month, female focussed business programme that has been running successfully since 2016.
This cohort starts on November 9th, 2020. The group will meet once a month on a Monday evening, 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm, in Lancaster.
This funded opportunity is for you if you:
- Are a woman running a small business in Lancaster District
- Have been trading for at least 12 months
- Value working in a small supportive group of peers
- Can commit to working as a group, once a month for 12 months.
Priority will be given to women who received no government Covid-support.
The training is funded; however, there is a £10 commitment fee, which you can have back at the end if you want it.
**As this is funded, and as places are limited, we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the training if you do not complete the programme. After all, reliability is key in business.

Training delivered by: Katie Birks and Nicola Garrett
The course will be delivered in a socially distanced environment with all necessary PPE to be worn by trainers and delegates. The location will be risk assessed and the training delivered will be strictly in accordance with the Government guidance which prevails at the time.
