Employees have a legal right to expect a safe and healthy work environment. Even though it may seem as if workplace health and safety is an obligation and cost to business owners, it has advantages in productivity and loyalty. Business owners must understand that a safe workplace is a key component to developing a positive corporate culture. This masterclass will introduce health and safety legislation and implications that impact upon the organisation.
Delivery of this session will be through formal input with interactive discussions. Real and fictitious cases will be presented for discussion with group members encouraged to discuss and determine the outcomes. The focus will be on application of knowledge to ensure understanding of the material.
This masterclass is suitable for employees with line management responsibility and funded by the ESF EnginE project.
