Supply chain innovation is emerging as a critical area for many organisations in delivering added value. Organisations need to work in close collaboration with other supply chain members to improve overall product profitability. They do this by effectively bringing together quality, cost and delivery dimensions in the most efficient and co-ordinated manner.
High-performing supply chains are essential in today’s fast changing global environment, in delivering goods and services to customers in accordance with customer demand expectations. This masterclass will discuss the importance of sustainable supply chains and steps taken to achieve this. It will also introduce techniques to be applied for selecting optimum suppliers when following the sourcing cycle.
Delivery will be through group- based activities with industry standard specialists. Blackburn College is a ‘Centre of Excellence’ Chartered of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Study Centre, the top grade awarded by independent auditors. Its tutors are trained, CIPS qualified and sector specific qualified.
This masterclass is suitable for junior managers and team leaders.
