Hear from Wajid Khan, Labour MEP on Brexit negotiations.
Wajid Khan is a full member of the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee and Human Right Committee and is substitute member of the Budget Committee. He’s been involved with the European Parliament for 12 months during the time where Brexit negotiations are reaching a critical point.
Wajid was born in Burnley and served as Labour Councillor and Senior Lecturer at UCLan prior to taking his current role. Now, Wajid has come back to his home town to provide reflections and insights into the Brexit negotiations, with the UK scheduled to depart on 29 March 2019. Hear the honest views of an insider on what has been happening around the negotiation table.
During this event, there will be time for a lively Q&A session. If you have any questions on some of Brexit’s hot topics, such as the customs union, the likely cost of the divorce bill, and other key issues for business leaders, come along and see if Wajid can offer any insight.
