A key climate crisis conference, which will welcome a group walking from London to the COP 26 conference in Glasgow.

This event will encourage those attending to look hard at what climate change means to them and what can be done to tackle carbon emissions

Sam Baker is part of a small team walking from London to Glasgow to highlight the COP 26 conference and stopping off at key points en-route to talk to communities about climate change and how they are tackling this crucial issue.

Speakers and panellists include Sam Baker, organiser of WalktoCop26, Lancaster City Council Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Climate Action Kevin Frea, Millie Prosser, founding member of LYFE (Lancaster Youth For The Environment) a social movement which unites and empowers young people to engage in environmental and political issues locally, Tim Narey Director of Eden Project North, and Daniel Dixon Performance Improvement Manager of Heysham 1 Power Station from EDF which is supporting the event, with more to be announced.

The event will start at 3pm, and run to 5pm followed a more informal social event at the theatre – Tickets are free and open to anyone to register.
