What do you see as your role as a Boost Bespoke coach?
Helping owners manage the financial side of their business and developing the skills to utilise the information they have within the business to improve decision making and strategic planning for growth.
What is your area of expertise and how do business leaders benefit from Bespoke coaching?
I concentrate on cash management, regularly reviewing their management information and installing systems which will assist in scaling the business up in a controlled manner.
How do you make a real difference to Lancashire businesses?
By providing business owners with the tools to manage growth, it gives them the confidence to build a more robust model, which in turn creates sustainable long term opportunities for future employees.
What has been your most inspirational moment as a coach?
Seeing younger people have the courage and confidence to start up a business always astounds and inspires me!
What are the key challenges for Lancashire businesses at the moment?
I don’t think the full effect of Covid-19 has been felt yet, so there are a number of challenges still to be met. Good practices, robust systems and disciplines that are instilled now will undoubtedly pay massive dividends going forward.
As a coach, what are your three business tips to accelerate growth?
1. Ensure your processes are systems are scalable.
2. Monitor costs closely.
3. Use the information you have in your business to make critical decisions (i.e. pricing etc.).
