Boost mentoring client wins Most Trusted SME-News award

NORI HR Award

Former Boost client NORI HR and Employment Law has been awarded the Most Trusted for HR and Employment Law 2020 award for Lancashire by SME-News.

The award recognises Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for innovation, growth and improvement.

The company, which is based in Accrington and led by husband and wife team Amrita and Jason Govindji-Bruce, has received the award around one year after it was founded.

During this time, NORI received support from Boost's Growth Mentoring programme to develop a strategy for growth. The company worked with mentor David Eccles to improve its sales generation and gain a clearer growth focus.

Since Boost support, the company has doubled in size and has a strategy to continue to grow over the coming years. It remains engaged with Boost's mentoring programme including attending weekly virtual peer to peer sessions with other Lancashire businesses.

Jason Govindji-Bruce, director, NORI HR and Employment Law, said: "In an industry where trust and expertise are key drivers, as proven during the uncertain period of COVID-19, this award reflects the purpose and focus of the business since its inception.

"For NORI HR and Employment Law, trust is a major factor for success. Being recognised as a trusted organisation at such an early stage of the company’s history is particularly fulfilling for me and my wife Amrita.

"NORI HR’s first year has seen swift progress from laying the foundation principles and objectives, through to serving a nationwide, cross-sector client base that depends on their honesty, expertise and guidance. This award further enhances our reputation, and puts us on track to becoming a major industry player."
