Boost to help firms improve sales skills through funded Sales Geek partnership

Boost and Sales Geek

Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, will partner with the private sector to help businesses improve their sales skills through a series of fully-funded mentoring sessions in small groups early next year.

Former Boost client and Boost & Co member Sales Geek will work with Boost’s Growth Mentoring programme on a series of group sessions to help Lancashire businesses build and improve their sales function and better understand the psychology of their customer base.

Sales Geek, which is based in Blackburn, provides training and support to a wide range of businesses to increase their revenue through improving their sales strategies and operations. Jaydee Davis, programme lead for Boost’s Growth Mentoring programme, said: “Lancashire has a wealth of amazing businesses who understand the benefits of quality funded business support and want to share their expertise to help others develop and grow.

“It’s been a hugely challenging year for all Lancashire businesses but we are supporting a wide range of companies who want to improve their operations and position themselves for long-term growth. Increasing revenue is a key part of that and we’re excited to be partnering with Sales Geek to bring quality fully-funded support to eligible businesses.”

The support, which will be delivered in a safe face-to-face environment, will see groups of 4-6 business leaders meet for a series of four targeted group mentoring sessions to share and discuss ideas and common issues.

The workshops will take place on January 11, February 1, February 22, March 15. For eligibility requirements and more information, interested businesses should contact Boost Growth Mentoring on boost@cbpartners.org.
