Digital marketing event set to help Lancashire businesses grow

Steven Cochrane Growth Lancashire

Experts from Google and digital marketing leaders from across the county will be hosting a day of free networking and learning opportunities in Preston to help businesses across Lancashire grow.

The Google Digital Garage will be delivering a free seminar to businesses as part of the Preston Digital Marketing Roadshow taking place on November 8th from 9am – 3.30pm at Best Western Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard. Amanda Walls, from Google Digital Garage, said: "We're delighted to announce our first visit to Preston, and look forward to shedding light on how to unlock the sales potential of businesses across the county using the most popular search engine in the world."

Steven Cochrane from Boost, Lancashire's Business Growth Hub, will also be speaking at the event to share advice and guidance for businesses looking to grow.

Steven said: "Lancashire is a leader in many industries – including number one in the country for Aerospace activity- but we need to bring our brightest and best minds together to make sure the county's businesses, from micro enterprises to multi-nationals, keep up with the fast-moving digital marketing world. "Lancashire is a brilliant collective of people, businesses and opportunities –  I'm looking forward to the Digital Marketing Roadshow bringing these assets together."

As well as a dedicated Networking Zone, a panel of leading digital and legal experts will host a question and answer session about the impact of the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and how this will affect businesses and the way they use customers' contact details from 25th May 2018.
