Enterprise4All (North West) Ltd, a business support agency in Lancashire, has hit a major milestone in helping over 150 new businesses secure over £1M loan funding with investment through the government-backed Start Up Loans scheme.

"We see the Start Up Loans programme as a great addition to our existing portfolio of services," said Enterprise4Alls Chief Executive Rafik Adam. "Many of the businesses we supported through this scheme have gone on to expand and we are continuing to support them through our other programmes as they develop and grow.”

Financing can be a major issue in the life of any small or medium sized business now, and that's a big problem for the UK economy, hence there have been a huge amount of applications for the scheme and we’ve expanded our team to cope with the demand.

Rafik added "It’s been very difficult for start-up businesses to access funding in recent years but these companies are vital to the local economy and we’ve been able to support these businesses through the entire application process to then providing on-going mentoring, all free-of-charge.

"We are really pleased that we have been able to support so many start-ups in the last 18 months, most of which would not exist without this source of funding, we are proud to have helped 150 individuals to start and grow their business.

This is just a snapshot of the success of the scheme.” In addition to Start Up Loans, Enterprise4All deliver start-up support to new Lancashire businesses through Boost's Lancashire LEAP programme.

Lancashire LEAP can offer a new business a wide variety of free, specialised support to get it off the ground. Support includes coaching, international trade, HR, finance and mentoring support. To apply for support, complete our online form or call 0800 488 0057.
