HeadsUp! is all about helping small businesses owners improve their productivity through lifting their heads up and reviewing their business activities. We focus on the benefits of using digital tools to automate and speed up business activities so that you have more time to do what matters most for your business.
How is the training delivered?
You will be invited to either join local workshops or online web calls. The HeadsUp! training programme is funded through Business Basics, a government initiative that supports projects that test methods of encouraging SMEs to boost their productivity through ways of working and technology.
Through this project we are measuring the differences in web and workshop delivery, but regardless of which route you are on, you will receive the same training materials.
You can receive up to 10 hous of training worth £1,000 but it is free to you and you can sign up to as many sessions as you like.
Training topics:
Sales and marketing – There are many powerful marketing tools that can help you reach your customers, including your website, SEO, email marketing and social media. The programme will help you optimise these tools to help you generate sales in your sleep!
Time management – Keeping focused in these days of digital distraction is a common problem. Learn how to keep focused on your objectives to exceed your business goals.
Accounting & Finance – As accounting, banking, expenses and now tax all become digital we will give you clarity on what you and your accountant should be planning for the future to save you time and money.
Collaboration – When you work with others, good communication is key and there are tools to help you stay in touch remotely and manage your work effectively as a team. We also cover key challenges that arise when you grow your team such as HR and wellbeing.
Who is it for?
