How does it work?

To join the programme, contact UCLan Investment Readiness or register for the introductory workshop here.

A team member will contact you to confirm eligibility and that the programme is appropriate for your business.

The programme is flexible. Depending on your requirements:

  • We host a series of workshops to ensure you are properly prepared to approach venture capital, business angel and crowd funders
  • Provide 1:1 support from experienced investors
  • Due diligence your business plan and provide feedback
  • Help you understand the importance and benefits of intellectual property from an investor’s and business viewpoint
  • Practice pitching sessions and feedback
  • Investor introductions

Who is it for?

The programme is primarily targeted at Lancashire SMEs requiring finance for development or rapid growth. Participating businesses range from early stage to well established. Funding required typically varies between £50,000 to several £ millions.
