The programme will support the costs of equipment and installation for low carbon heating solutions like heat pumps and infra-red heating.
The focus will be on those operating on the most carbon intensive fuels, as well as working with installers and local training providers to understand barriers to delivery.
This grant is available to small and medium enterprises located in Lancashire currently using oil or gas for heating. This does exclude Blackburn and Blackpool unitary regions.
To get involved an SME will need to have a completed Energy Audit and submit permission to share it, along with your company name, to LancashireLowCarbon@lancashire.gov.uk.
Any expressions of interest for the first round of grants will need to be received by Monday 28th February, 2022.
If your business does not have an Energy Audit you can contact the Chamber Low Carbon at: email@example.com or the MaCaW Project at: firstname.lastname@example.org
The replacement heating scheme may involve additionalities beyond the scope of the grant that the SME must pay for.
All installations are subject to further survey and payment of grant is upon installer billing and subject to evidence that the energy audit has been acted upon as agreed.
