Starting and running a business can be lonely. Peerworking can bring reassurance that you are not isolated and that the challenges you face are not yours alone – there are people travelling on the same journey. Peerworking isn’t for everyone but if you can open your mind to it, the benefits can change your business.

At these sessions, business professionals are put in a position where they can be upfront and honest about themselves and their business because of the friendly, confidential and informal setting. They open themselves up to receiving support and guidance from business professionals and other likeminded SMEs to make necessary developments to grow their business. By putting themselves in this vulnerable position, they are opening the window of trust required for people to buy into their product or service.

The knowledge and advice shared between our practitioners at each meeting is completely invaluable and almost like having your very own mini board of directors. People do not come to these events to sell but to share and support each other on their business journeys.

Who is it for?

Peerworking can be for any business, any age or size. You just have to be open minded to the format and willing to give and receive support to the local business community.

How does it work?

  • Book your place on one of our events via our website (they run bi-weekly on a Wednesday and Friday)
  • Attend a session (free of charge for your first time). They run from 8-10.30am
  • Come with an open mind and a potential point to discuss (you will receive a welcome email outlining the details)
  • You will receive support on your point if you have one and if you yourself do not bring one you will always gain knowledge from other points discussed that you can directly apply to your business
