Lancashire has a great tradition of industry. A recent report by the Royal Academy of Engineering found it to be one of the great engineering hotspots of the UK.
There is so much expertise covering all aspects of engineering, from chemical through data and electronics, materials, energy all the way through to traditional ‘nuts and bolts’ engineering. It’s a great ecosystem with so much potential. The Academy is aiming to help innovators in Lancashire to become amongst the best in the world.
