A range of training courses aimed at benefiting tourism and hospitality businesses in Blackpool has been launched.

Courses to train staff in areas including social media marketing, leadership and management and presentation and selling techniques are available at a subsidised rate at Blackpool and The Fylde College.

Businesses operating in the tourism and hospitality sectors with an FY postcode are eligible to apply and can claim back 80% of the cost of the training through the Employer Ownership of Skills Funded project.

Businesses would need to pay the full cost of the course upfront and then reclaim 80% on completion meaning the cost is 20% of the full price. To find out more about the courses available visit: http://www.blackpool.ac.uk/employers/bta
