Jaan Scott

Business Adviser | Growth Catalyst

Jaan has spent 15 years operating manufacturing businesses across the region, then a further 10 years as founder of a consultancy business that supports over 1,000 SMEs across the North West to achieve sustainable accelerated growth.

As a Boost business adviser, Jaan is on hand to help leaders of growing companies to increase their capacity to innovate and achieve accelerated growth. His role involves leadership and management support, providing practical tools and the know-how to help business leaders with business strategy and to execute plans. He also helps SMEs to overcome barriers to growth and to exploit opportunities.

For business leaders in fast growing businesses, Jaan can advise how to put in place systems and processes and establish a management structure in order to grow their teams and reduce owner/leader input, and to attract new talent and new customers.

Jaan enjoys being involved in helping Lancashire businesses, where, over recent years, the county has become an attractive destination for entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses. Lancashire is home to a network of business support organisations making it easy to signpost organisations to programmes that provide guidance and funding opportunities for a broad range of services.

He believes the county's collaborative ecosystem facilitates knowledge-sharing and fosters innovation, allowing business leaders to thrive and grow their organisations.
