Kerry is the founding director of Beanstalk Business Centre CIC. Based in Preston, the centre provides support and administration services to entrepreneurs, start-ups, not-for-profits and SMEs.
She is a serial entrepreneur who has set up and run several of her own companies, bringing a wealth of business experience to Flying Start.
Through her role as a business adviser delivering the Boost Flying Start programme, Kerry provides pre-start-up support to entrepreneurs starting a business, and business support to owners of young businesses with aspirations to grow.
Kerry’s specialist areas include business administration and bookkeeping, with sector experience in community/social enterprise, food and hospitality. She also provides helpful support to people new to business to overcome imposter syndrome, and to build their confidence and improve their business communication and networking skills.
Having an adventurous spirit, Kerry thrives on the challenges of running businesses to climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. She's completed marathons, a half Ironman, and, for a touch of fun, a marathon on roller boots. Mum to three sons and Nana to two grandchildren, Kerry skilfully balances her adventurous spirit with a rich family life.
