Richard is the national director of GC Business, part of The Growth Company. He leads GC’s national services that enable businesses to open new markets, drive operational efficiencies, spark innovation, champion sustainability, develop diverse good employment, and provide access to finance.
Having led the development of the national government-backed Peer Networks programme, Richard supports the Department for Business and Trade on the coordination of the national growth-hub network.
With a deep understanding of economic development at a local, regional and national level, Richard actively champions the importance of developing local ecosystems that integrate public and private solutions.
