Senior decision makers within Lancashire SMEs are being invited to take part in Lancaster University Management School’s next cohort of the Lancashire Forum, starting on 4th October.

The six-month programme is designed for directors and managers with real growth ambition. Forming part of the range of business support services provided through Boost Business Lancashire, this innovative six-month programme draws upon key elements of Lancaster University’s research into how entrepreneurs learn and grow, and provides a space for leaders to step away from their businesses and develop growth strategies in a supportive environment.

Matt Hutchinson, programme manager, said: "This programme is a fantastic opportunity for growth orientated Lancashire businesses, helping them grow skills and confidence in equal measure."

The programme includes workshops delivered by leading academics at Lancaster University and business experts. It covers topics on: innovation and creativity, business strategy, employee engagement, branding, and business finance for growth.

Participants will also develop a peer support network, have access to masterclasses with inspirational world-class speakers, and experience a company visit to identify best practice for overcoming barriers and challenges. This is a fully-funded programme, which is available to European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) eligible companies.

Applications are now open. For more information about this opportunity or to apply, please contact Pete Cornwall on e-mail or on 01524 510728. Alternatively take a look at the LUMS website for more information.
