Lancashire businesses engaging with Boost have been overwhelmingly impressed with the service and support they have received.

According to the results of Boost’s latest satisfaction survey, 96 per cent of businesses engaging with Boost services were satisfied, with 98 per cent likely to recommend Boost to a friend.

Last year, Boost received a further £6m to continue delivering wide-ranging support for ambitious high growth businesses and start-ups. Since the start of 2019, Boost has already helped around 300 new and established businesses to access the support they need to grow.

Andrew Leeming, Boost programme manager, said: “We’re thrilled that so many businesses are engaging with the wide range of programmes Boost has to offer and reaping the benefits. We want to continue to build on this success and help as many Lancashire businesses as we can on their growth journey.”

“Whether you want to start a business, need help to grow, or are looking for support to develop a new product or service, Boost has an offer for every type of company and should be your first port of call. Speak to us and start your growth conversation and let’s keep on #GrowingLancashire!”

Boost is Lancashire's Business Growth Hub and is led by the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) and Lancashire County Council and supported by funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Boost has received £3.8m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is the Managing Authority for ERDF. Established by the European Union, ERDF funds help local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations.  For more information visit https://www.gov.uk/european-growth-funding.
