What do you see as your role as a Boost Bespoke coach?

My role as a Boost Bespoke coach is to provide aspirational businesses with what I call the four I’s. These are Inspiration, Insight, Information and Ideas to make their businesses more effective and successful through revenue growth.

This is delivered both online and face to face and often includes educating and inspiring clients to research and produce a business development plan. The role also involves answering business growth questions from clients.

What is your area of expertise and how do business leaders benefit from Bespoke coaching?

My area of expertise is business development support in terms of modelling, strategy definition, planning and execution. I also specialise in helping businesses to understand and take advantage of the opportunities being created as a result of The Digital Media Revolution of the last few years.

This includes setting up and promoting Video and Audio podcast channels along with planning and producing content for distribution.

How do you make a real difference to Lancashire businesses?

SME businesses don’t know what they don’t know and Lancashire businesses are no different. Very often small businesses get bogged down with working too much IN the business, basically on the hamster wheel of getting the work done.

I allow these businesses to get off the wheel and focus on the thinking necessary to develop new growth strategies and tactics that take into account technological advancement. Increasing practical knowledge and skills makes a big difference in business growth.

What has been your most inspirational moment as a coach?

The most inspiring moments for me as a coach are when clients you work with provide you with a testimonial written or verbal that share how you helped them in way that far exceeded their expectations.

What are the key challenges for Lancashire businesses at the moment?

Lancashire businesses are facing a wide range of challenges at present, particularly as a result of the recent Global Pandemic. From a business development perspective thinking and planning strategies to move forward have become even more imperative than ever.

In terms of the Sales and Marketing element of business development it has never been more challenging to get the attention of your target market and achieve the necessary level of engagement needed to sell a product or service.

  1. Make enough time to work on the business and not just in the business.
  2. Develop your creativity and maximise innovation at every opportunity as massive change is now a constant.
  3. When is comes to business development think like a media company and produce and share multi-media content that educates, inspires or entertains your target audience.
