We are not all built the same, and neither are our businesses. Social Capital brings alternative forms of investment to companies that are viable; both fiscally and socially. Equity is an option, but it’s certainly not the only way to scale a business.

Social Capital is a family of businesses brought together by two common goals; to unify the way companies are supported throughout the fundraise and scaling journey and change the way companies gain access to investment.

We provide you with not just alternative ways to fund your business’ growth, but also with the necessary basic foundations and tools to help structure and frame your business along the way.

This means we will set up and manage your investor relations department, build you a bespoke market leading website and branding strategy, and provide you with corporate advisory should you require.

We ensure that you remain in the drivers’ seat, so your business stays you. Because companies that tick boxes won’t change the world.

What one top tip would you give to a business owner embarking on a growth plan?
Be brave and optimistic but make sure you know your financial numbers. Test your plan in a controlled small environment. When you have the confidence, then put your foot on the gas.

Why is Lancashire a great place to grow a business?
The North is untapped ocean of talent. Northerners are passionate and hard working. Over heads are typically lower in the North.

Why are you backing Boost Business Lancashire?
I am Northerner born and bred. Having launched several successful businesses both here and overseas, I want to give back to my roots. I believe in the viability of the North and I want to be at the forefront of propelling the North forward.
