Owners and managers of fast-growing Lancashire businesses are being urged to have their say in a which will inform the public and private sectors on the barriers scaleups face and the support they need.

The Scaleup Institute’s Scaleup Survey is now in its eighth year and its influence has grown steadily. In recent years the results of the survey have led to new finance, visa and support schemes for scaling businesses.

The deadline to complete is October 3 and the results will form a central part of the Scaleup Institute’s Annual ScaleUp Review, published in November 2021.

Lancashire’s scaleup business community has urged owners and managers to share their views and ensure the county’s voice is heard on the national stage.

Amin Vepari, programme manager, Two Zero, said: “Lancashire has a vibrant and diverse community of scaleup businesses which we are proud to support.

“The contribution of scaleups to the national economy is firmly on the Government’s radar and therefore it’s vital that the opinions of Lancashire’s scaleup leaders are reflected in the national picture.

“We urge all scaleup leaders in Lancashire to share their challenges, opportunities and views on current and future public and private sector support through this short survey.”

The survey takes about 15-20 minutes to complete and can be done via mobile phone.

The heart of the survey remains focused on the key barriers to future growth - but questions also include the current and future impact on scaleup businesses from the Covid-19 pandemic to help the Scaleup Institute improve the environment for scaling businesses.
