The fully funded Boost Bespoke Programme provides tailored support delivered by professionals who are experts in their field, to owners and managers of established businesses.

The programme is designed to help them accelerate growth, develop their leadership team and access new markets. So grab a coffee and read about Raj Kundalia a cyber security professional and Boost Bespoke coach.

What do you see as your role as a Boost Bespoke coach?

I educate business owners and staff on how cyber security needs to be people centric. I implement this by educating businesses and their employees in cyber security best practices through coaching and training.

Through coaching, I help businesses to build comprehensive cyber security strategies and training for their staff. The above is achieved by actively listening to the business owners and staff on the challenges they face, and then having the ability to implement the right cyber security strategies for them, which is based around their business goals and objectives.

What is your area of expertise and how do business leaders benefit from Bespoke coaching?

My guidance is led by trusted reports and the understanding of seconded police officers. I bring a high degree of insight and understanding from policing. Especially around latest trends and threats.

I go above and beyond to support you. Regular engagement, dedicated account manager, communication via email, phone, social media, and face-to-face meetings. Strong connections and partnerships with trusted organisations

How do you make a real difference to Lancashire businesses?

Cybercrime affects more and more organisations every year, with criminals looking to steal your most valuable business assets from sensitive data to finances. One of the weakest links to any organisation is its workforce as only a single click or mistake could enable cybercriminals to drastically affect your organisation.

This means that your employees play a crucial role in protecting your company. Staff that can identify and stop cyberattacks will significantly reduce the risk of a breach. I am helping Lancashire business become more cyber secure by helping to implement the right cyber security controls from processes, educating the business, making them compliant with GDPR, any other legal framework they must adhere to and keep them compliant with their cyber insurance policy.

There is no such thing as being fully cyber secure, so when a large cyber breach does happen, I ensure the right controls and processes are implemented so down time to business disruption cost is down to a minimum.

What has been your most inspirational moment as a coach?

Helping to safeguard my clients from easy avoidable cyber threats, giving the business owners peace of mind and their business achieving robust cyber security controls to handle complex cyber attacks.

What are the key challenges for Lancashire businesses at the moment?

Lancaster businesses like all businesses around the world are affected by cyber crime as more and more organisations every year, with criminals looking to steal your most valuable business assets from sensitive data to finances.

One of the weakest links to any organisation is its workforce as only a single click or mistake could enable cyber criminals to drastically affect your organisation. This means that your employees play a crucial role in protecting your company. Staff that can identify and stop cyber attacks will significantly reduce the risk of a breach.

As a coach, what are your three business tips to accelerate growth?

  1. Define clear goals and objectives and measure these every day.
  2. Build a network of people that are driven and are successful business owners.
  3. My third and final tip is about having a positive mindset, see problems as opportunities, and failing as lessons learnt. The only one holding you back is you, learn to build their positive energy around you.
