IOSH Managing Safely is a 3-day training course accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). It aims to teach managers and supervisors in any sector, and in organisations of all sizes, how to spot, assess, and manage risks in the workplace.

How long is the course?
3 days classroom learning spread over three weeks.
How is it delivered?
In-person training delivered by an IOSH approved trainer.
Do I get a certificate?
Delegates who successfully complete the exam receive an IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
How often do I need to get refresher training?
Your IOSH Managing Safely certificate does not expire. However, we recommend the one-day refresher every 3 years to stay current with latest best practice and regulatory changes.
Do I need any prior safety experience?
No. Managing Safely is designed for managers and supervisors without prior safety expertise. The course takes you from basics through to practical application.
Is this course accredited?
Yes, Managing Safely is designed and quality-assured by IOSH, the Chartered body for occupational safety and health professionals.
