18:00 - 20:30

Preston

Society1

A series of business networking events that shares the fascinating stories of inspiring leaders that encompass Culture, Community and Commerce; inviting them to come together to connect, collaborate, and cultivate new opportunities.

These events will ask questions of the quietly formidable, understated powerhouses that don't shout, but just deliver. The aim of the evenings is to foster meaningful relationships, spark innovative ideas, and support local growth by bringing together entrepreneurs, business professionals, creatives, and community leaders. Whether you’re looking to share insights, form partnerships, or simply expand your network, this event series provides the perfect platform to engage with Preston’s thriving business and cultural scene.

Edition 1 brings together Amy Cheadle, co‑founder of Northern Dough Co, and Lynsey Thompson, Director of WASH Studio, for an honest and inspiring discussion about building a brand, scaling a business and staying true to your roots. Amy will share the Northern Dough Co story—from early beginnings in Preston to securing national customers and welcoming Ant & Dec as co‑owners—while Lynsey offers insight into how thoughtful design and strong creative partnerships helped bring the brand to life. Tickets include a drink on arrival.
