Join us for our third Fraser House Talk of the year. Dr Rebecca Robinson is a cybersecurity leader, programme director, and founder of CYBEC Consulting, with over a decade of experience delivering large-scale, government-funded cyber and digital resilience programmes across the UK.

With a PhD in Medical Electronics, Rebecca specialises in bridging the gap between complex technology, policy, and real-world practice. She has led and delivered technical and cyber programmes, working with national funders, universities, industry partners and local communities to support SMEs, public-sector organisations and supply-chain partners to strengthen their cyber resilience.

Her work focuses on practical cyber security, including Cyber Essentials, incident preparedness, supply-chain risk, and digital skills development. Rebecca’s work spans skills, behavioural change and innovation ecosystems, with a particular focus on SMEs, critical sectors and regional growth. She is known for translating cybersecurity into clear, human-centred action helping organisations understand not just what to do, but why it matters in their day-to-day work.
