Preston Tech Connection is a group centred around an interest in digital technologies. We meet monthly to discuss interesting and topical subjects. June News - We are excited to share that our June meet-up on Tuesday 3rd June will feature in the Innovate Lancashire - LIFT Festival Programme as a fringe event. The LIFT Festival event is on the 12th June at Chews Yard in Preston. (Tickets also available on Skiddle). Our June Meet-up is themed 'How AI Is Already Changing Your Life'. About the topic: AI isn’t just coming—it’s already here, quietly transforming the way we live, work, and interact every day. Whether it’s the apps we use, the services we rely on, or the decisions being made around us, artificial intelligence plays a growing role in modern life. At this month’s meet-up, we’ll dive into how AI is already shaping our daily experiences, from smart assistants to social media, healthcare to hiring tools. We’ll open the floor to discussion, share real-life examples, and hear what others are noticing or working on in this space. We will look at ideas like: Everyday AI in Action Benefits vs Trade-offs Ethics & AI AI and Creativity Why Come? Casual, open discussion with fellow tech enthusiasts
