Description.

Incoterms® are at the heart of international trade, defining responsibilities, costs and risks between buyers and sellers. As part of the Moving Goods series, this practical webinar helps UK exporters confidently apply Incoterms® 2020 to their shipping operations and contracts.

You will gain a clear understanding of what Incoterms® rules establish and how they shape key elements such as delivery points, cost allocation and transfer of risk. The session will walk through the four groups - E, F, C and D - and explain how they differ in real trading scenarios. It also provides guidance on selecting the most appropriate Incoterm® based on your product, logistics model and commercial objectives.

In addition, the webinar highlights how to correctly incorporate Incoterms® into contracts, while clarifying common misconceptions—particularly what Incoterms® do not cover, such as payment terms or transfer of ownership. This session is designed to help exporters reduce disputes, improve clarity in negotiations and move goods internationally with confidence.
