Lancashire Tech Talk - The AI Stack: the reality

September 23, 2026

18:00 - 20:00

Chorley

Lancashire Digital Hub

Developers. Products. Platforms. What's really changing? AI is everywhere right now, but beyond the headlines and hype, what does it actually mean for the people building products, managing platforms and shipping software?

From AI-assisted development and coding agents to platform ownership, engineering workflows and product delivery, teams are starting to ask bigger questions about how AI fits into the way software is built and operated. Join us for an informal community meetup delivered in collaboration with AWS Lancashire User Group, bringing together developers, engineers, product teams and technical leaders for an open discussion on what's changing, what's working, and what's still being figured out.

With a strong focus on community, this event is an opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges, share experiences, and explore how AI is influencing development teams, products and platforms.
🧩Is AI changing the way we build software?
🧩Is it reshaping engineering workflows?
🧩Is it disrupting the tech stack altogether?

We'll use a relaxed fishbowl discussion format, where the conversation is shaped by the people in the room. A few attendees will kick things off, but anyone can jump in, share their perspective, ask questions or challenge what's being discussed. No presentations. No sales pitch. Just honest conversation, practical insights, and networking with Lancashire's developer, engineering and product community.
