Lancaster University Management School

Join us for an inspiring talk with Barrie Wells MBE — entrepreneur, philanthropist and founder of the Barrie Wells Trust.

A self-made financial services pioneer, Barrie sold two major insurance businesses in Lancaster before turning his attention to sport, charity and children’s wellbeing. He’s personally funded Olympic and World champions including Keely Hodgkinson, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Beth Tweddle.

He has also given thousands of seriously ill children VIP experiences at major events through his award-winning Box4Kids initiative. Expect powerful reflections on problem solving, creativity, building innovative market-leading companies and the sheer joy of giving back to society through philanthropy.

Please note this event is in person only. Registration is free but required.
