NWAA are excited to be hosting its 9th Annual Conference this year on 14th March 2024 at the phenomenal venue of the Concorde Conference Centre.

Time: 8:30am to 17:00pm.

The theme of this year’s conference will be…. ‘The Growth of Advanced Engineering & Manufacturing in A Digital World’…… As the North West Aerospace Alliance (NWAA) proudly marks three decades of innovation and excellence, we invite you to join us for an extraordinary experience at the Concorde Conference Centre.

This year’s Annual Conference is not just a milestone celebration; it’s a journey back to the remarkable year of 1994, when NWAA took flight into the aerospace realm. 

From Space to Aviation there were lots of firsts to celebrate in 1994.

1994: Clementine: NASA/DOD mission changed our view of the moon, its objective to map the moons surface. 1994: Maj. Jackie Parker become the first U.S. woman to be qualified as an F-16 combat fighter. 1994: Boeing 777, the world’s largest long-range widebody twinjet, made its maiden flight. 1994: Vicki Van Meter, age 12, became the youngest pilot to make a transatlantic flight in a Cessna 210 1994: Test flight of Boeing 777; the first aircraft to be designed entirely on a computer 1994: The K-Max “aerial truck” designed and built by Kaman became the first helicopter designed for repetitive lift operations.
