Description
Brazil is one of the world's greenest major economies: renewables account for approximately 85% of its electricity generation and 50% of its total energy matrix, almost four times the global average.

The country has a mature biofuels market and fast-growing wind and solar sectors, and is positioning itself as a future global leader in green hydrogen, with government investment of $1.77 billion already committed. Electric vehicle adoption is accelerating. Global tech giants are betting big on Brazil's clean energy advantage: Microsoft ($2.7bn), Amazon ($1.8bn), and ByteDance/TikTok ($38bn) have announced major data centre commitments, driving surging demand for renewable power and digital infrastructure. This webinar will present data on Brazil's energy landscape, highlight opportunities for UK businesses, and address key challenges including grid transmission bottlenecks and power connection constraints.
