Fraser House Hub

Search Lancaster's 4th meetup will be an daytime event running from 15.00 - 17.00 at Fraser House.

Speaker line up:
Charlie Whitworth - Founder of Whitworth SEO and HiveMCR. Charlie will be talking us through what the SEO process looks like in 2026 - because whether we like it or not, our little agentic friends have meant SEO processes have changed. In this talk, you'll learn how to embrace change and enhance your SEO processes to save time and boost performance.

Tasmin Lofthouse - freelance copywriter and founder of Fika Digital. Tasmin will be talking us through how to stop falling into the SEO content trap (Google doesn't buy from you, people do!). In this talk, you'll learn how to avoid the SEO trap to create content that's obsessively useful, deeply human, and designed to drive real action.

Katie Lingo - a freelance copywriter and Founder and Director of Katie Lingo. Katie's talk, titled 'With UCG in LLMs, is YMYL just a load of CRAP?' will explain that as user trust declines, Google is constantly shifting towards first-hand experience. But what happens when non-experts appear in AI Overviews? This study looks at the impacts of forums, YouTube and social media on the most important content on the internet: YMYL. In this talk you will find out what pitfalls to avoid and how you can position your brand like an expert, no matter what field.

This is a free event but sign up encouraged please. Cake and refreshments will be on offer too. Come for the day and trial the space for free then join the afternoon session.
