Menopause support at work needs to go beyond awareness. It needs expertise, practical action and a real understanding of women’s health.

To mark World Menopause Day 2026, Dr Ewa Craven and I are launching a free on-demand session for employers through The SHIFT Programme.

SHIFT the Conversation: Free Menopause Awareness Session for Employers is a practical 45-minute session designed for business owners, HR teams, managers and organisations who want to better understand menopause at work and support their staff well.

Between us, we bring a very different depth of experience.

Dr Ewa Craven is a GP, BMS-accredited Menopause Specialist and Menopause Trainer, bringing the clinical and medical expertise.

I bring more than 35 years’ experience across nutrition, public health, behaviour change, gut health, movement and workplace wellbeing.

Together, we’ve created SHIFT because businesses need more than tick-box menopause support. They need trusted, evidence-based guidance that helps them understand what women may be experiencing, what managers need to know, and what practical support can actually make a difference.

In the session we cover:

  • What menopause and perimenopause can look like at work
  • How symptoms can affect sleep, energy, focus, confidence and attendance
  • What employers and managers should understand
  • Practical steps workplaces can take to offer meaningful support.

The session will be available from Monday 19 October, free to watch on demand and easy to share with your managers.

If you’re an employer and you’re serious about supporting women in your workplace, this is exactly the conversation to be having.

We’d love organisations across Lancashire and beyond to share this with their HR teams, managers and business networks.
