WILD X LWID (Women in Lancaster Digital Network X Lancashire Women in Digital) Workshop - Building Communities and Breaking Boundaries

September 03, 2025

18:00 - 20:00

Lancaster

Fraser House Hub

Autumn begins with a joint event from WILD and LWID, an evening dedicated to community, boundaries, and digital growth. It’s about bringing together two networks, sharing experiences, and giving you practical tools you can use straight away.

The line-up:
Dr Alice Ashcroft (WILD) – How online spaces feel when belonging is at the heart, plus a quick activity to explore what that looks like.
Lesley Walsh (LWID) – “Can you just…?” Turning offhand tech requests into a sustainable model, and why boundaries matter.
Amy Holland (WILD) – Data protection without the jargon: a quick guide to why it matters more than you think.
Liz Hardwick (LWID) – Seven years of LWID, shaped by dialogue and demand, plus a shared timeline of where we’ve been and where we’re going.
Joanne Ainscough (WILD) – Making complex tech accessible and bridging the digital divide.

This event is for women and non-binary people working in digital across Lancashire and beyond. Come curious, leave with something useful. ________________________________________
