Hosted by ChamberCustoms experts, this session will explore different types  of  customs  representation and what they mean for traders’ customs liability exposure. You will hear exactly which questions traders should ask themselves and their customs agents to ensure the highest levels of compatibility and customs compliance.

Deputy Director of Trade Services, British Chambers of Commerce

Mitch is Deputy Director of Trade Services at the British Chambers of Commerce, leading ChamberCustoms and BCC Trade Facilitation. With over a decade of experience in international trade and customs, he oversees customs clearance, consultancy, compliance and training delivery across the UK Chamber Network.

He works closely with specialist teams and Chambers nationwide to support UK traders navigating complex global trade requirements. Mitch also represents the BCC at national level, chairing the BCC Certification Group and contributing to the HMRC Joint Customs Consultative Committee.


Marika Majewska


Customs Specialist, ChamberCustoms

Marika is a Customs Specialist at ChamberCustoms with seven years’ experience in international trade. She combines practical customs expertise with instructional design to translate complex HMRC guidance into clear, actionable advice for UK businesses.

Marika develops and delivers bespoke training and consultancy across areas including Special Procedures and Trade Agreements, ensuring businesses understand both operational requirements and compliance obligations. Her sessions are designed to make customs processes practical, accessible and effective.
