Wyre

Wyred Up Business Group (Wyre Council)

Businesses across Wyre, the Fylde Coast and beyond are invited to attend an important evening event offering a clear and practical update on the major changes to employment law coming into force this April.

These changes represent one of the most significant updates in a generation, and this session is designed to help employers understand what’s changing, what it means for their business, and how to stay compliant.

Delivered in partnership with local specialists, the session will cover key updates including:

🔹Changes linked to the Employment Rights Act 2025
🔹Updates to zero-hours rules
🔹Revisions to holiday and sick pay
🔹Contract requirements and family leave entitlements
🔹Health and safety expectations, including Martyn’s Law

Whether you’re a start-up, micro-business, growing SME or a larger organisation, this session will provide practical, straightforward guidance to help you navigate these changes with confidence.

The evening will begin with a warm welcome, light bites and refreshments, giving you the opportunity to connect with other local businesses before the main session begins.

You’ll also have the chance to take part in a live Q&A, where you can ask questions directly to the experts and get advice tailored to your business.

This event forms part of the Wyred Up EduSocial series, supporting a collaborative and well-informed business community across Wyre.
