Wyred Up Business Support Programme - Delivered by The Small Business Academy

Exclusively for high growth start-ups and existing businesses based in Wyre, the programme offers access to start up and scaleup specialists.

Business experienced growth specialists are already working alongside eligible Wyre businesses who are looking to unlock the growth opportunities in their business. 

The support provided covers a unique programme delivering masterclasses and workshops in the following themes:

1. Commercial Resilience & Cashflow Confidence – helping businesses strengthen financial management, cashflow forecasting and commercial decision-making. 
2. Leadership & People Management for SME Owners – developing leadership capability, workforce planning and people management skills. 
3. Customer Insight, Value & Relationship-Led Growth – improving customer understanding, value proposition and business growth through stronger relationships. 
4. Marketing & Destination-Led Thinking for SMEs – helping businesses improve marketing, visibility, place-based promotion and digital engagement. 
5. Sustainable Business & Green Transition (Practical SME Focus) – supporting carbon reduction, sustainability and preparedness for future requirements
6. Managing Change, Risk & Uncertainty – building resilience, risk awareness, cyber awareness and confidence in navigating change. 
    

The framework also embeds digital capability and AI awareness across all six themes, rather than treating AI as a standalone topic.

Some applicants may be put forward for one of a limited number of 1-2-1 mentoring places  They will be matched with an experienced specialist who understands their businesses unique challenges and goals.
