Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub is partnering with Pink Link Ladies, the female networking franchise behind the region’s annual Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS) to encourage more female business owners, employees and entrepreneurs in Lancashire to enter the awards.
The new partnership will also provide an opportunity for women entering the awards to learn more about business growth programmes. Boost business advisers along with Pink Link Ladies will work with potential entrants to help them understand the support they can access through the Growth Hub to help their business grow.
Entries for EVAS close Friday May 27, with Boost encouraging any nominations from Lancashire to get in early and take advantage of an EVAS information event to be held for prospective entrants on Thursday April 28, at Preston North End Football Club.
The Boost team will be on hand at the event where entrants can learn more about Boost’s core programmes and gain helpful tips and tools to help prepare for the award entry.

“This unique partnership will mean women looking to enter the EVAs can gain tailored support with their entries and also learn more about the support options available in Lancashire to help them grow further.
“We know there are many talented female led/owned businesses in Lancashire with the flair to be a winner and encourage business owners and support providers to put forward their nominations to shine a light on the brilliant businesswomen across our county.”
Established in 2011, the Enterprise Vision Awards celebrates the outstanding successes and achievements of the North West’s most talented female entrepreneurs.
Boost is Lancashire's Business Growth Hub and is led by Lancashire County Council and the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership). It is supported by funding from Lancashire County Council, the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
Since 2013, Boost’s funded growth support programme has helped over 8,000 business, including many female entrepreneurs and employees. A number of these women have gone on to be recognised in regional and industry awards.
The EVAS is open to all women in business in the North West including business owners, employees, CEOs and young entrepreneurs. Women can enter themselves, or people can nominate a woman they believe deserves to be recognised for her outstanding work. There is a total of 19 categories in the 2022 awards.EVA Finalists will be announced on Friday July 1, 2022, with all finalists invited to an exclusive event on July 20, which Boost is also supporting.
