As Director of Business Development at Lancaster & Morecambe College I have always felt that my job title has a duel meaning. Whilst in essence my role is to develop new business for the College and generate opportunities and income that will make us a sustainable part of the local community, I also believe it to mean that I have a responsibility to provide learning opportunities that will drive external business development and growth in our business community.
When developing our provision we wanted to create a series of events aimed at senior managers, organisation leaders and business owners. We developed Lead On with the aim of providing business seminars not designed to teach you the ‘how’ but the ‘why’. This would allow the influencers in business to understand the topic and ‘lead on’ the agenda in their own business environment.
Our Lead On seminars deliver learning, knowledge and insight to our business community on the key topics facing industry today. Some courses will help give you the edge in business whilst others will aim to steer you away from dangerous waters and expensive pitfalls.
