Lancashire Innovation Festival set to showcase county's talent

The final touches are being made to what promises to be a month of inspiration, collaboration, and discovery this October.

Whether you are on your phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop, you can join in the Lancashire Innovation Festival for free from the comfort and safety of your own home.

The brand new festival will showcase some of Lancashire’s latest innovations in a series of web-events hosted by industry experts from across the county covering a wide range of themes. Attendees will also be able to make the most of networking opportunities with video conferencing and an online chat functionality.

Business leaders will be able to consider new viewpoints and fresh ideas, while exploring how learning, technology and innovation can come together, with talks delivered by some of the county’s innovation experts from higher education, health, clean technologies and much more.

Graham Baldwin, Chair of the Lancashire Innovation Board said: “We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the Lancashire Innovation Festival which will take place throughout October.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase and celebrate some of the amazing journeys that university researchers, industry experts and businesses are on.

“I know that the team have been working hard to produce this free event which has been designed to create a virtual space for businesses from all sectors, of all sizes to collaborate and learn from one another so I urge you to follow @LancsInnovation and #LANIF2020 for the latest updates."

The Festival schedule is available to view on LancashireInnovationFestival.co.uk and includes 50+ speakers involved in over 25 events throughout October, delegates can register online for free via the website to secure their place.
