The finalists have been announced for the 15th annual Red Rose Awards, including four businesses from a range of sectors which have received Two Zero support during their scaleup journey.

The awards, led by business publication Lancashire Business View, were first launched in 2011. They celebrate the best companies from across the county by recognising business excellence and showcasing innovation.

Three of this year’s finalists took part in Two Zero’s Scaleup Leader’s Network programme, which gave Lancashire’s scaleup business leaders the opportunity to accelerate their business growth through targeted growth coaching and peer learning.

These are Lancaster-based health and safety consultancy HSE Advice which is shortlisted for the Customer Service Award, Micro Business Award and Professional Services Award; Blackpool-based digital marketing agency Complete. Online Solutions, shortlisted for the Digital Award and Blackburn-based refrigerated vans provider CoolKit, shortlisted for the Made in Lancashire Award.

In addition, Preston-based Supalite Tiled Roof Systems, which is shortlisted for the Made in Lancashire Award, previously took part in Two Zero’s Women Scaling Up programme, a targeted scaleup programme designed to address the unique set of challenges faced by female business owners.

Amin Vepari, programme manager, Two Zero, said: “Two Zero's purpose is to support Lancashire’s scaleup businesses, including through targeted support programmes to accelerate their growth, which in turn drives growth in the Lancashire economy.

“The impressive variety of sectors represented by these four finalists that have previously had Two Zero support, showcases the diversity of our scaleup economy and highlights that targeted support can help fast-growing businesses of all sizes and sectors maximise their potential.”

This year’s Scaleup Award category finalists have also been revealed. Those shortlisted in the category are:

  • Audiebant
  • Crozier Campers
  • Eco Providers
  • Eco Giants
  • Jigsaw Fitness
  • LCM Environmental Services

The Red Rose Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday March 13 at Winter Gardens Blackpool.
